Yeah. Bush is coming to Mount Airy MD tomorrow and I might actually get the opportunity to meet him. Just for kicks. What do you guys think of him? I'm not going to answer just yet because I don't want my opinion to shape anyone else's. But be honest. Tell pros and cons to his presidency.

well, I really don't like the way he runs things, when this whole war started he sent my dad a letter, basically it asked him to join the war, and forgive me, but I do not agree with fighting, I think there is an easier way to solve things then with violace, I'm sorry to all those who agree with the war, but I don't, and yes I feel bad for the soilders over there, but I don't like to talk about it, and I think it is a waste of time and money, I don't care what anyone says about bush, I hate him, and wish he would get out of office, I'm sorry if that's mean, but I've had a lot of my friends losed loved ones for this tupid war, including one of my friends boyfriends, I'm sorry if I offeded anyone, but.... that's just the way I feel, fighting is wrong, voilance is not the answer to problems

okay, I got to meet our president. In person he isn't too bad. All I got was a handshake. Let me tell ya Egypt, your opinion can't hurt anyone no matter what they believe. Thats the point in debates. Don't feel sorry for how you feel, defend it! I really don't like our president. These are the reasons why. 1. The only reason the he started the war in Iraq was because he was finishing what his father started 13 years before that. Think about it. At first he said that they had weapons of mass destruction, but guess what? They were never found! Then once the American people realized this he had to come up with another plan. Iraq was involved with the terrorist attack on 911. Any average INTELLIGENT American should have to background knowledge to know that these people had nothing to do with 911. However, American people are sometimes uneducated and since 911 is a hot topic issue, most of us believed him. Now, two years after this suggestions people are starting to doubt Bush's loyalty. Thats why he has the lowest approval rates on record. Let's face it. The only reason that we are in Iraq is because Bush wants his daddy's thumbs up and they have oil. Look at what he's trying to start with Iran. 2. He is screwing up the environment faster than we can catch up with him. Bush has signed many laws and made any people believe that this construction of new wells for finding oil are good things. They aren't. There is only sop much damage that we can do before its too late to stop it. Anyways, this is my opinion. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I open my eyes to the real world. My mom complains about him all the time and tells me the 411 about all politics so I have a pretty defined opinion. What does everyone else think?

I'm the same way, I look at the world from a diffrent angle, which is why I am very smart, but I'm too kind for my own good which is why I get hurt easily, I hate seeing people get hurt, and those people over there, no matter waht their relgion or race, don't deserve what they've gotten, no one deserves that And recently I've learned from my dad (old amry man) that Bush wants to make Iraq like our country, that's wrong, so basically he's saying if your not like America, then you are wrong and need to be destoryed and that's not fair! I may not be a religous person, and yes 911 was a big thing, but recently I've leanred from one of my friends who is a muslim that the only reason those people did what they did is because they think America is a threat to them and their religon, and not to be rude or anything, but I agree, this place is a threat, we're a threat to ourselves and those around us and bush is not helping matter, I just him out of office, this planet can't take anymore of him, and quite frankly, neither can I, I know there is good in everyone, and I believe that, but with bush...... it's just hard to see...... and I really hate being mean cause means not in my nature, it makes me feel wrong, and hateful.. but.... there's only so much this world can take.....

I know exactly how you feel. I relate to people pretty well, I can read emotions. I have two uncles in the army over there right now. my cousin's husband is over there. I pray that they are okay everyday but you never know when you will get that call saying your loved one is dead. I think in some ways bush is the anti-christ...so does my mom. If there is any good in him, he tries hard and succeeds at hiding it. Don't feel like your being mean though. Honesty may sometimes be mean but it is the truth.

I just hate the thought of me being mean, I'm to nice and caring for my own good, and as my mom says i wear my heart in my sleeve, I can't help it, I'm just that way, which is why alot of my friends say I remind them of yugi, I'll stick up for my friends, and fight for them (not physicaly) but when it comes to myself, I could careless as long as others are happy, and I truely believe that there is some good in Bush I really do....... I just wish we could see it, no one is truely evil, everyone has good in them somewhere, you just have to find it

WOW! I feel like I'm looking in a mirror at myself. You and I have a lot in common. I love my friends and I would do anything for them. You really do remind me of Yugi to back up what your friends say. If I had to characterize myself, I'm probably more like Yami. Anyways, NEVER EVER loose those personality traits. Always look for the good and not the bad in people, that will make you into a well rounded individual oneday. I have a hard time trusting people that betray me, but thats something else I have to work on...just another thing that makes me a lot like Yami. I like your personality traits a lot. They will take you a long way. Sometimes school can be harsh but those who make it are the ones that have a true heart. I can tell that you are one of those people. That will help you out in the future and with keeping your friends. Lets face it, when your down are you going to call someone that makes fun of others to make themselves feel better or are you going to call the one who hugged you when your cat died? Kinda sucks that we will never get to meet each other. I like debating though because it really shapes people. I can tell your a pure hearted person, you'll do something great one day. I'm sure of it!

We've never been in this bad of a situation as we have been this year. At least, since I've been alive; and a lot of it has to do with the decisions that Bush makes.

With Bush, I pretend he doesn't exist. The country has been through a lot since 2001. Plus, he was put in a bad spot with having to send people to war for the first time in over a decade. As much as I hate politics, it's hard to this, but for what's going on in the world, with the economy, gasoline prices, etc, I think he's doing what ever he believes is right for the world. (Not that I agree with his methods of running the country or anything.) Just stating an opinion.

My brothers in the wart and me, my familky and his boyfriend (hehe my bro's gay AND I LOVE IT....) are damn proud of him!

OKay, I'm sort of getting what you're talking about but not really at the same time. I get that Americans want to help others out and it is a good quality, however, we need to learn the correct way to help people out. Americans can't be the world police. Thousands of people outside this country are killed, raped, and god knows what else everyday for unjust reasons but that doesn't give us permission to kick in the door and add our own justice. If you look back on our history, many countries were presented with the same thing, especially America. Before we broke away from England, if you weren't loyal to the king, you and your family were killed. That was the way things were. However, did France or Spain come onto our land to give us a helping hand and force democracy on us? no. We came up with our own ways, when we were forced into a corner and we had enough we fought back. That is how countries are formed. Bin Laden would have evenutally been overthrown by the people when THEY were ready to find their own government. Why do you tihkn our troops are still there? We can't leave because they don't have a stable form of government. They didn't want our help or they weren't ready for it. We can't leave now because they are prey to other countries. Now we have to stay in a country where the people didn't need our help yet and because of it, soldiers are being killed. We can't fight others battles. I'm not saying we can't help them, but we should have waited until they call us for help and not just butted our head in when it was convenient for us.
