The only light in the shop was pale, dimly cast from the crescent moon. It created a blue-toned effect throughout the many glittering jewels in the shop, reflecting off of the mirrors and glass to cast a pattern of rectangular patches of light around the off-white walls.
It was silent, too, no sound disturbing the small store. And the same could have been said for movement, but...
Like a ghost, white of hair and brown of eye, Bakura slipped in through the now-unlocked door, closing it behind him. A quick survey of the scene showed nothing, and no dark spots on the wall revealed cameras or motion sensors.
This would be too easy.
Chuckling quietly to himself, the tall boy strode carelessly over to one of the display cases, and, seeing the large price tags attached to them, took a paper clip out of his pocket and began picking the lock.
Aware of the small click, Bakura froze for a few seconds. And then, of course, the whirling yowl of an alarm. Muttering curses, he opened the case, closed it again, then strode to the door. The turning mechanism was easy to re-lock, and, as he exited, he knew that the police would think the alarm was faulty. He'd be back tomorrow, when the alarm would be down. A sadistic grin crossed his face, and, striding out onto the street, he began looking for trouble.

Brown eyes looked around into the darkness that was his mind, Ryou sighed as he sat in one of the dark corners. His other kept taking over without the slighteset warning and it began to agitate him greatly but he knew that he couldn't change bakura's mind nor fight him so he just waited silently in the darkness.
"Well looks like i won't be sleeping again tonight." he muttered to himself as he rested his head on his knees and closed his eyes slowly.

Well looks like i won't be sleeping again tonight. "Why would you want too? The city's much more fun at night." The dark one chuckled. "And the people are more...entertaining." To prove his point, he looked around. The characters of the night had emerged - hallow-eyed and sallow-skinned. The shadows began their dance, passing, trading, sinking and fighting. The silence of the twilight-night had ended, and the ruckus of the drunken and high had begun. Few respectable people came to this part of town at night, and even as the moon shone above them, shadows replaced what had been light.
Yah, this was Bakura's time.

"Hm...all i know is if you suddenly let me take over then god knows i would have a good chance of being raped by some drunk." he replied, he didn't really care for the people of the night. Sure he did prefur night over day but he would have found it a little more enjoyable if he was stronger then he was.

Bakura seemed to find this prospect very funny, for his teeth shown in a grin, white below his homo-tonous hair. Yah, but you're pretty fast when you're scared. Until you trip, of course. It was unusual for the dark spirit to show such...jovial comedy, but his mood seemed incredibly light, despite its blood-stained color.
{oof.}

Ryou blushed lightly and glared into the darkness "Ah shaddup." he grumbled, though he knew bakura was right and that he was pretty damn fast when he wanted to be. But sometimes the drunks were just as fast and the mere thought of it made a shiver travel down his spine.

Drunks? Fast? Hah! Bakura was almost laughing out loud. Maybe he should have started picking on his hikari earlier; it was entertaining. If drunks are fast, then I'm Russian. And we should all know that that's not true. Trust me kid, if you've ever been drunk, you'd know how much speed is...resented.
{OMG. I'm SO FRIGGEN....umm....*can't think of a word*}

Ryou glared into the darkness and kept his mind blank, by god his yami annoyed him terribly sometimes. Turning he stared at the dark wall and kept quiet trying to make bakura leave him alone.
