Barty looked to the cup and arched a brow. "Now it looks like piss from someone who has a kidney infection,"he said,"Perhaps the first time is just how Gale made it, hmm? I'm assuming this is how all tea looks." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the sugar bowl from earlier along with a measuring cup. The students eyes got wide as he took the cup and filled it with sugar. And then, then, their eyes got to be the size of dinner plates as he dumped the whole lot into his cup.
Picking up his spoon he stirred it with some difficulty, having to actually pour more tea into the cup, before actually adding a full 'nother cup and stiring it around then. When he finally took a sip, one of the braver Ravenclaws managed to speak up. "Pr-Barty!"the ravenclaw girl squeaked,"You're gonna kill yourself with that much sugar. Haven't you ever heard of Cholesterol and Cardiac Arrest?"
Barty's gaze had turned heavy lidded during her words and he almost seemed to ignore her as he pulled a pipe and a container of tobacco, tapping the chimney of the pipe against his desk. The old leaves fell from it and, placing his china cup down delicately, he replaced old with new and lit it with his wand. The effect of the tobacco was instant, his eyes glaze over and a lazy grin on his face. Heavy eyes turned on her and he giggled. "Nope!"he said before before removing his pipe and taking a huge gulp of tea, the bluish smoke rising from the chimney.
He placed the cup down and returned the stalk to his lips. Music. He could hear music. It was fast beat and loud and the words were latin. He didn't realize it was indeed him singing the song though, humming where there were no words. Swaying and bobbing his head slightly he continued to murmured the words, the music filling up his senses as he watched bright lights pop in and out of his vision. Those could have come from his wand though as he used it for a baton.
