I personally think that this is the cutest couple ever! Want to here my story of finding these two so adorable? When I first started watching YGO I liked to see them talking together (especially the scene in Yugi's bedroom after the puzzle was briefly stolen). Then about a year latter I found ff.net and starting reading stories about puzzleshipping. At first I thought it was weird but then I got used to the idea and was like WOW! I started to notice on the actual anime that there were so many YYXY moments. in the back of my head I knew that there had to be something going on.
Anyways, I like the couple because Yugi strikes me as the adorable, innocent, and pure teen who needs protecting....thats Yami's job. Yami is a tough guy on the outside but once you crack him open he seems to be a sort of sweet guy.
Has anyone noticed that Yami seems the most comfortable around Yugi? When you watch the anime next time look at Yami's face when he talks to Yugi and then when he talks to everyone else and you'll see what I mean. I call it the Yugi look. *blushs* its sooo cute! Any other opinions? I'm going to try to post pictures but it probably won't work! oh well! Give me some thoughts ya'll!

Thats exactly how I see it too, every part of what you said. Even how the couple seemed weird at first, until you read more, and realize just how perfect they seem ^^

THANKIES! Well it did seem kind of weird but I got used to it. Now everytime i read ff on the two I'm always like AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! How adorable!

When I first saw the pairing it took me a little while to get into it. I didn't even think about puzzleshipping until I found ff.net around three years ago. A friend of mine introduced me to the YGO section and then I started reading more of the pairing, and started writing my own of it and I agree with you on the 'Yuugi look.' Yami always seems comfortable only around Yuugi.

Meh. I'm kinda here for my friend but I do enjoy the couple. ^^ Its not my favorite but I like it. Its cutesy and I don't have a lot of cutesy yaoi couples I enjoy(Sasunaru is so sexual its not funny >D). Recently I've been interested in Kaworu/Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion. You don't get much more yaoi-ish than that. <3 For pete's sake, Kaworu told Shinji he LOVED him. xDDD

one of my old freinds got me into puzzleshipping, at first I was like weirded out by the whole gay thing, but when I watched the show more closely and saw how Yami always seemed to smile and be calm around yugi, and how when ever Yugi was doubhting himself, or needed comforting Yami would always show up, then I noticed how close they were.
Once I started to read fan fics with them together I was hooked, I knew they belonged together no matter what anyone said, then I grew a hatered toward Tea/Anzu, werid huh?
Now I write all types of puzzleshipping atories and lemons and stuff, I'm completely obssesed with this couple I can't help, I've even got my freinds into likeing it, and now we talk about it all the time, it's werid but we can't help it, we all think it's the most cutest and sensable couple on the show and it's so odvious!!!!!!!!!!! I mean you'd have to be blind werido not to see it when you watched the show!!!!!!!!!!

Well...this is weird on how I got to be the puzzleshipper I am today...
Well I've always watched Yugioh back when the series was first on tv in america, I was in 5th grade then... well I adored anzu[tea] DONT ASK WHY!? I was young...plus I didnt really even follow the show that well. Well then the show started to get weird airing times and didnt show new episodes for awhile so I stopped watching it. Then one month ago I was bored and I went on fanfiction and came across the yu-gi-oh section. I was curious and searched YamixYuugi and I read one story and INSTANTLY FEEL IN LOVE WITH IT. At first when reading I had to get use to the whole [boyxboy] thing, because I wasnt use to reading that stuff, and well I've been hooked ever since! hehe! ^-^
oh and a week later I finally searched the last episode of Yu-Gi-Oh...I cried for an hour ;__; lol...strange I know...
mhm...now time for me to try to get my friends into it >.<

It's sad to say, but when I first got into Yuugiou, I was fifteen, and I didn't even think of YamixYugi as a pairing. Hell I thought of them as brothers until a friend urged me to look at fanfiction.net and her stories. (She hates yaoi/shounen ai for some reason, but yeah...) Ended up finding yaoi by mistake. Took me two fics to actually start liking it. Then everyone I knew ended up realizing that YamixYuugi was a part of my interests and stopped caring. But yeah, puzzleshipping is my favorite and always will be.

same here, I always thought they were like borthers or really good friends until doom, then I was like 'uh....ok... they like each other way more then freinds' and thanks to my friend Beth, who entroduced me to puzzleshipping, I've been hooked since I was about 13 or 14, but it kinda took me awhile to get used to it, and even after I did, i was too shy to write even a kissing scene, let alone a lemon, or lime, and know look at my fics (smirks)

Okay.. I agree! I mean the first yaoi story I stumbled on was cruddy... so thats what I thought about yaoi at first. That I didn't like it and all that... but then I fell into a good story, and ended my love for yami/tea stories and yugi/tea stories and voila... yami/ yugi stories instantly became my fav pair! ;) Kinda funny actually how that ended... I hope I can bring my friend amber into liking it cuz she's acting just like i did before I liked yaoi. she like yami and yugi together as brothers... now I hope I can convence her into liking them as...more. But I'm trying to do a yaoi fanfic but I need some advice... how did you get over this... shyness you could say?
