In the relative solitude of the Butterfly Garden, what with the colorful flowers and soft green leaves of the plants, every new individual was noticable. While biting his lower lip, trying to think of what to do next, Malik observed the young boy, his mind somewhere else.
He had seen that look before, though. An inner battle. Either the kid was going through a bad point in life, or he, like Malik and others Malik knew, had a yami (or a hikari, depending on which of the two he was looking at). The boy scratched something on a sketchpad, then held it up. He was looking for money, eh? Well, Malik didn't want his picture drawn - he couldn't sit still that long - but he did have some cash to spare.
"Hold on a sec," the blonde told Yugi, wandering over to the kid. Taking out a couple dollars {Or whatever the equivilent is}, Malik said simply "Just take it. I don't want a picture, heh." This was not in a mean or condescending tone, but in a jovial, friendly fashion. "A word of advice, though: the pretzels here...just don't get one. Go for something less likely to be eaten by rodents."

Kinsei took the money greatfully and smiled widely. "Thank you,"he said happily,"And I'll try to remember about the pretzels. But are you sure you don't want anything in return? I feel bad about taking your money..." 'I don't!! 'Nobody asked you, Sonji...'[/i] "I insist I do something to earn the money,"Kinsei said determinedly.
